Simple and easy, taking care of your hat-tube for rollable Panamas meets the requirements imposed by this noble material which is full-grain calfskin leather.
Protect the box from moisture and avoid any direct contact with water, never put it too close of a source of heat or a flame, never use any solvent-based products nor water repellent agent and don’t put it on any abrasive surface.
To clean it, preserve it and protect it, first clean the dust off with a soft cloth and check that the box is not damp. For stronger stains or material deposition use a clean cloth or a 90° alcohol swab, wipe gently then rinse with another clean cloth soaked in clear water. Dry thoroughly with a clean and dry cloth to prevent marks. Then use your hand to apply a walnut-sized amount of moisturizer and work into skin with a gentle massage using small circular movements. It will nurture your leather and preserve all its brightness
